Squirt

“One day we were walking down the trail and all of a sudden BANANAS!! SQUIRTTT” 

Squirt is one of camp’s ultimate favourite games! Whether its with 10 or 50 people, squirt is fun no matter the day!

Supplies:

1. 5+ people 
2. Open space ​

​How to play:
Step 1: Pick a Squirtmaster.

• The Squirtmaster is the leader of the game and is the one who decides who to squirt
• Have participants stand in a circle around the Squirtmaster in the center of the circle

Step 2: Pick your squirt action

• In our example, we choose to dabb! 
• You can also choose to clap or any other hand signal 
• This will be the signal that you use to get your other competitors out! 

Pro Tip: this is where the game can get extra fun! Maybe choose to use a water guns or water balloons and your “squirt action”! You may also choose to use it as a name game like we do at camp and instead of yelling squirt, you yell each others name! 

Step 3: Start the game

• The Squirtmaster will randomly point at someone and shout “SQUIRT”
• The player that the Squirtmaster points at must duck down, and the players on either side of them must point at each other and yell “SQUIRT”
• The first player to do this wins, and stays standing 
• The player who didn’t say squirt or who said it last is eliminated and must sit down where they were originally standing 
• The player who ducked down now stands back up
• The player who ducks can also be eliminated if they don’t duck before the players on opposite sides shouts squirt 

The game can become more challenging as players are eliminated and the spaces between players widen. The game continues until there are 2 players remaining 

Step 4: the Squirt-off

• The final 2 players will stand back-to-back and start walking away from each other when the Squirtmaster says go and starts telling a story
• When the Squirtmaster says ‘Squirt’ or the trigger word as part of the story, the 2 players must turn around, point at each other and yell “SQUIRT” 
• The first to do so is the winner and gets to be the Squirtmaster in the next round

Pro Tip: the Squirt-off story can be made up and goofy! You can pick a funny word to be the trigger word, for example ‘bananas’
